Sired by the world renowned Triple Crown and World Champion Stallion, *Simeon Shai+, Batal has inherited many of his sire's attributes - a pleasant disposition, strong athletic ability, and correct confirmation. His dam, an Egyptian Event Top Ten Halter winner, has contributed her exotic beauty, refinement and willing to please attitude. The combination has produced an extreme head with tiny muzzle, excellent conformation, suspended trot and ideal temperament.
Batal has been professionally halter trained and his handsome good looks make him a contender for the halter show ring. He is a multi Sport Horse In Hand Reserve Champion, having been shown to the titles by the Palm's twelve year old daughter.
A very versatile and athletic individual, Batal has participated in fox hunting and shows a talent for jumping. He is suitable for a junior rider and would make a wonderful Pony Club or 4H mount. Currently, he is competing in limited distance and endurance rides. His competition record can be viewed at www.aerc.org.
He is AHA Breeder's Sweepstakes nominated and therefore eligible for prize money throughout his show career.
Batal is Dahman Shahwan in strain and traces to the tail female El Dahma through the Sabah branch.
