Melody's pedigree speaks for itself. She is sired by a multi-champion in halter and performance. Both of her grandsires were U.S. National Champions. To follow in their footsteps, she garnered a Top Ten at the Egyptian Event in halter before taking her place in the broodmare band.

Melody elicits all the characteristics of the true Bedouin breed mare — beauty, type, temperament, intelligence and athleticism. Best of all, she passes these traits on to her offspring. Melody is Dahmah Shahwaiya in strain. The Dahman are reputed to subsist from the horses of King Solomon. Dahman are listed as the first choice in the Abbas Pasha manuscript. She is a descendent from the tail female line of El Dahma, Sabah branch.
