AT REGION XII CHAMPIONSHIP
The 31st Annual Arabian Horse Association Region XII Championship was held May 6-10, 2008 at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia. This would mark Three Palms Arabians debut at the Regional Championships.
Citadel Batal, a seasoned limited distance endurance horse and starting his career as a 50 miler, showed well against stiff competition in the Sport Horse Geldings In-Hand Open and Amateur classes. Unfortunately, it was not enough for a Top Five finish in the classes. Gunnar Palm showed Batal admirably for only their third appearance in the Sport Horse Division.
Citadel Shahin and M.K. Marshall with Region XXI Top Five
Three Palms ArabiansŐ junior stallion, Citadel Shahin (Ansata Ibn Jamila x *Fatmaa) captured a Top Five in Sport Horse Stallions In Hand, Open. Shahin proved himself amongst more seasoned and decorated competitors by floating around the ring. Handling Shahin for Gunnar and Patricia Palm was amateur handler M. K. Marshall.
