Three Palms Arabians Scores the Highest
The Western Carolina Arabian Horse Association held their spring show March 7-9, 2008 at the T. Ed Garrison Arena in Pendleton, South Carolina.
Citadel Al Malouz and Gunnar Palm
Three Palms Arabians sent three horses to compete in halter, performance, and sport horse classes.

Citadel Batal (*Simeon Shai x Matrabbs Melody) was shown by the PalmsÕ twelve year old daughter, Savannah.  The team brought home two Reserve Championships; Sport Horse In Hand Geldings 3 Years and Over and Sport Horse In Hand Geldings 2 Years and Over ATH.  In addition they garnered a third place in Youth Showmanship JTR 17 and Under and a fourth place in Dressage Seat Equitation.

The yearling colt, Citadel Al Malhouz (Jabbaar El Halimaar MH x Matrabbs Melody) had a very successful show.  Gunnar Palm showed ÒMickeyÓ to first place finishes in Arabian Yearling Colts/Geldings, Sport Horse In Hand Stallions 2 Years and Under, and Sport Horse In Hand Stallions AATH.  Mickey was the highest scoring purebred Arabian stallion Sport Horse In Hand of any age.  Unfortunately, for Mickey, there were no championship ribbons this show.  USEF Rule AR158.2b in the Arabian Division states Sport Horse In-Hand Champions and Reserve Champions must be at least two years of age.
